• In Curricular Activities (2018-’19)

    The school bagged 100% victory in the previous year (2018-2019) Board Examination. 16 students secured marks above 90%, out of which Sandra K Joseph, Ann Maria Joy and Sana Nissar have secured A1 grade in all subjects. Remaining all the 29 students procured above 65% of marks.

  • In Extra Curricular Activities (2019-’20)

    Large number of students whetted their talents and skills in the school level ARTS and SPORTS Competitions. The best competitors were chosen and sent to Sahodaya District Level Competitions. In the Sahodaya District Level Handball Competition, First Prize was bagged by Girls Under 14 category, Second Prize was obtained by Girls Under 19 category and a Third Prize was secured by Boys Under 19 category.

    In the Sahodaya District Level Competitions, 6 students got A grade in Off-stage items while 5 students acquired A grade in On-stage items. Master Abhinand Rajesh secured First Prize in Mimicry competition and was selected to the State Level Competitions. Miss Alona Mariya Sajan was also selected to the State Kaloltsav.

  • Trophy Day: A smooth landing of Academic Activities

    Trophy Day is the evaluation and conclusion of all curricular and co-curricular activities. All the medals and trophies of Arts and Competitive examinations are awarded on this day.

  • Annual Class Day

    The students celebrate one day as their Annual Class Day. They bring food to school and share it with each other. This is also an occasion for them to share their gratitude, love with their class teacher and other subject teachers. Class-wise cultural events are also performed.

  • A Tour or picnic always enriches the minds of students with relief and it brings the children close to nature and one another. The High School students were taken to St.Mary’s Island, Muradeswara, Dandeli, Goa. The tour lasted for four days. The students enjoyed the trip and they shared their experience that it was an unforgettable experience to all of them. The tour brought all of them closer to each other as well as the teachers. Boating and Kayaking in the

    river Kali, stay in the tents and swimming in the pool at Dandeli were all new experience for everybody and they expressed it in their words and actions.

  • Every year, the students of Alphonsa School visit some of the Charitable Institutions near the school. This year, students of Class VII visited Vikas Bhavan Edoor ( A special school for Mentally Retarded Children). They mingled among the Mentally challenged children, sang songs for them, offered gifts to them and listened to them patiently. This made the students understand the difficulties those children face in their lives. Such a visit always leaves an unforgettable experience to all the visitors.

  • The school discovers deserving students and enable them to avail various scholarships such as Scholarships for Scheduled Castes, Scholarship for Minority Community, etc.
